RIFTSKIN
CUSTOM SKIN INJECTOR FOR LOL
On Mac, it is normal for an installer that is not distributed through the App Store or signed in a mainstream flow to trigger security screens. That is not automatically a RIFTSKIN bug. Most of the time, you just need to allow the package in macOS settings.
In most cases, this simply means macOS is asking for a manual validation. As long as you use the official RIFTSKIN installer, the right reflex is to follow the authorization flow, not to assume immediately that the app is broken.
Always use the official download page to get the latest macOS package.
The first failure is often normal. It mainly makes the authorization option appear inside system settings.
Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security. Look for the line related to RIFTSKIN or the blocked installer.
Approve the authorization, then confirm with your administrator password or Touch ID if macOS asks for it.
After authorization, you usually need to launch the package one more time. That second launch is what lets the installation continue normally until the app is copied into Applications.
